Bula Vinaka again to all, as Whales comes to Na Virikawakawa Festival 2023

We are delighted to share the highlights of our sponsorship at the remarkable Na Virikawakawa Festival 2023. Building on the success of last year's Tauvu Day celebrations, which brought together newly arrived Fijians with the existing Fijian diaspora, this year's event aimed to strengthen the bonds between all Fijians. Regardless of whether individuals were PALM scheme workers, students, or part of the diaspora, Na Virikawakawa provided a platform for us to get to know each other better, rebuild connections, and work together to make meaningful contributions to the wider Australian community and our families back home.

We had the privilege of welcoming His Excellency, Mr. David Kolitagane, the Fijian High Commissioner to Australia. This marked Mr. Kolitagane's first visit to Victoria since assuming the role in November of the previous year. We were honored to have him in attendance, and his inspiring speech further emphasized the significance of the occasion.

Na Virikawakawa was a celebration of unity and a testament to our commitment to strengthening bonds within the Fijian community. The festival provided a vibrant platform for attendees to engage in conversations, share experiences, and rekindle relationships. Through a range of exciting activities and performances, the event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Fiji, including traditional music, dance, and captivating artwork. The festival truly captured the essence of Fijian culture, leaving a lasting impression on all those who participated.

We take immense pride in sponsoring and being a part of the Na Virikawakawa Festival 2023, which exemplified the power of connection and collaboration within the Fijian community. By strengthening bonds, fostering unity, and celebrating our shared cultural heritage, we contributed to the wider Australian community and made a positive impact on our families back home.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, Mr. David Kolitagane, for his inspiring presence and thought-provoking speech. His involvement further elevated the festival, highlighting the importance of forging connections and working together towards common goals.

As we reflect on this memorable event, we are filled with renewed energy and enthusiasm to continue fostering strong bonds and making a meaningful difference in the lives of us, both near and far.

We extend our appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the Na Virikawakawa Festival 2023. Together, we will continue to celebrate unity, achieve cultural harmony, and create a brighter future for our diverse community.
